Location
Located
just north of Mariemont, Queen of Angels is easily accessible
from northeastern areas such as Kenwood, Madeira and Indian Hill;
from central areas such as Hyde Park, Norwood and Oakley; from
eastern suburbs such as Anderson, Milford and Loveland; and from
Northern Kentucky.
Our
school occupies a charming school building which was previously
occupied as a parish school (Cure of Ars). While Queen of Angels
remains independent and has no formal parish affiliation, the
school sits amidst approximately 14 acres of the beautiful rolling
hills which constitute the grounds of St. John Vianney parish.
Because Queen of Angels occupies space on parish grounds, our
elementary students are able to attend weekly Mass in the chapel
adjacent to the school. Fr. Dave Lemkuhl, pastor of St. John Vianney,
has welcomed our students as active liturgical participants in
the weekly Mass. The grounds also provide rich opportunities to
supplement the indoor curriculum with botanical study, gardening,
and hikes outdoors.
Queen
of Angels is nestled in a residential area which borders Mariemont,
Indian Hill, and Cincinnati.
