Character Development

THE ROLE OF THE CHILDREN

Queen of Angels currently offers classes at the preschool/kindergarten (ages 3-6), lower elementary (ages 6-9), and upper elementary (ages 9-12) levels.

The CDP is designed to cater to the range of maturity in the students in the school and to introduce concepts and activities at the stage in the child’s development that will make the most impact on them in the journey of CD. For their part, the children will be expected to actively participate in the activities and efforts planned, and should not be allowed to “upwards delegate”, to their parents or teachers, the work involved in CD activities. It is important to the success of CD that the children immerse themselves in the activities, and that their questions are answered about why they are doing it, and why it is important to them and the world that they develop their characters and demonstrate behaviors that reflect that development to those around them in the family, school and community.
